We’re pleased to present “Deconstructing Landscape,” a co-curated exhibition by Kathleen Forde (
@kfjorde ), Director and Curator of Media Arts, and Meagan Robson, Collections Manager, featuring over thirty-five rotating works from the Carl & Marilynn Thoma Foundation collection, opening June 26, 2026, with artists reimagining the traditional picturesque landscape across time-based media, photography, painting, and sculpture.
Throughout history, artists have responded to the seductive and often sublime drama of the open sky, infinite sea, mountains, forests, sunsets, and sunrises. They have captured, channeled, and, at times, deconstructed nature’s potential for rapture. Through their work, artists process this experience of the natural world and its power to provoke our imagination.
On view June 26 through Spring 2027
