* Witnessed people step into their power and transform before my eyes.

* Reunited with family I hadn’t seen in years—my mom, aunt, uncle, and seeing my dad as well.
* Stepped right into @mindvalley Future Human, where I got to learn from world-class speakers and connect with game-changers.
* Balanced time between family, work, and deep conversations with new friends.
* Celebrated birthdays in the desert under the stars.
* Experienced the energy and innovation of Dubai—a city that feels like the future unfolding in real-time.
This trip was a reminder that life isn’t about choosing between work, adventure, or relationships—it’s about weaving them together in a way that fills your soul.
Feeling grateful for it all 🙏
So keep going. Even when it’s hard, even when it feels slow. The golden light is coming. And when it does, you’ll see—it was always worth the wait.

It is my birthday and it’s been quite the year. It’s definitely been one of the most difficult years I’ve ever had & I’ve been reflecting on the lessons as I sit here in a cafe in Rotterdam.
I’ve been grieving loss in my personal life, destruction that is still ongoing in my ancestral homeland & life taking an unexpected turn.
Through all of this, this year I am celebrating that I have been in the curriculum of getting to know me more. Truly owning who I am. Owning my feeling and learning how to communicate them.
Getting to know my wounds,
Making new choices when they arise,
And continuing the process of rewritting my patterns so that I can show up in integrity & truth in all areas of my life.
So I celebrate the humanness of this process, even when it’s hard.
And on my hardest days, when I wanted to give up
Recognizing that I was learning to lean in, opening myself to up to more wisdom and new ways of being.
For all the times I experienced heartache
I was learning to open up to self-reflection and healing.
For all the the times I experienced loss
I was opening up to forgiveness & acceptance.
I am so thankful for all of the people that have come into my life & played a role in whatever capacity it looks like.
Thank you thank you thank you.
My birthday feels different this year and I am feeling optimistic about what life gets to look like.
I know this next year is going to be a completely different curriculum & I am so here for what gets to emerge. Who I get to be. How I get to show up. What gets created.
And so I celebrate existence. I celebrate forgiveness. I celebrate love. I celebrate life 🤍

Sounds of the summer 💫
Coming out of a tough year, I got to move emotions through music, performance, collaboration & community, bringing that energy into the spaces that I care about. It felt so meaningful to play and faciliate at all of the epic festivals & events spaces over the past few months.
I appreciate all of you incredible humans that I met along the ride. 🫶
It is through these spaces, the work that I’ve been putting in on a personal & collective level, and the clarity that I am finding within myself that I am sourcing inner strength, hope, creativity and inspiration.
The seeds have been planted for the many possibilities to come. I am feeling inspired to continue evolving and refining.

Saying “I got you” to someone can carry immense power.
It’s about being present, offering connection amidst the pain.
It’s the simple act of sitting together by the water, saying nothing, yet your presence is enough.
It’s not about resolving the issue, but letting them feel that they are not alone. Beyond the surface and past the facades and stories we all present to the world, lie the unseen moments that are finally allowed to be seen and felt.
What a gift it is to offer your presence.
What a gift it is to let yourself be seen.

Summer things are happening!
Full transparency, I’ve been finding it difficult to centre myself or promote any projects as I move through my own grief in this season and climate.
I remind myself that I can invite this energy into the spaces that I love. Art, music, community, and culture can work together and be used as a tool for healing, liberation and love. And so, I am excited to be stepping in as Keys for my Music, Musings and Projects. More on this soon!

“Dreams Under The Rubble,” a spoken word piece born from emotions too heavy to bear, is my dedication to the resilient souls of Gaza and every innocent person lost.
Crafting this piece was heart-wrenching, especially with the awareness that we are still in this mess and nowhere near any real solution.
As a Palestinian Canadian, it felt meaningful to transmute the collective grief that we’ve been feeling into inspired hope.
The world leaders have failed the Palestinian people.
A people that want nothing more than to live out their dreams and thrive, just like the rest of the world. They are fighting the real fight while counting on the international community to reject this “manufactured normal.”
I am betting on the current awakening of this collective consciousness that is informing a new reality.
A reality that rejects oppression which diminishes the value of each precious life.
A reality where every soul lost is a collective wound inflicted upon our humanity— and we refuse to stay silent and be played like pawns on the world stage.
It’s recognizing the insidious game being played in this modern neo-colonial landscape, to transcend these manufactured divisions by our leaders, and to reclaim our shared humanity.
It’s to break the cycle of violence and heal the root cause, a Free Palestine with dignity, sovereignty and self-determination. The path forward to true shared co-existence with all the people and neighbors.
Acknowledging the humanity in each other can we begin to dismantle these oppressive systems imposed by the powers that seek to divide & dehumanize. Our strength lies in our collective ability to empathize, understand, and stand united for a new dream.
Step by step, this collective dream will become a reality.
