📍Kitchener, it’s time to GROOVE 🌺🍫🌕 Chocolate Groove, Toronto’s OG Ecstatic Dance Party is coming to Kitchener Waterloo! Founded and organized by Jesse Buck aka Cacaoboy, this alcohol free, ecstatic dance party has been running for over nine years in Toronto and has become a city hub for intentional celebration, transformative community and life changing nights of dance! Join us on the Leo Full Moon for an epic community dance experience with a delicious and intentional cacao ceremony and grounding soundbath to close out our evening embodying the radiance, aliveness and boldness these times are asking of us all. Our very own EDKW organizer Nathan Cartwright and community dance maven Reva Wild will be guiding an opening connection workshop to get us into our bodies and activated in our aliveness before Tannya and Jesse introduce us to Cacao, it’s nourishment for our bodies and hearts and guide us through a ceremonial activation with this ancient and potent medicine. We have three amazing DJ’s for our evening with Auraboros coming back for a second time with his live percussion and powerful multi genre journey, our local house queen KASIA bringing her decades of festival dance floors to her DJ prowess and Cacaoboy headlining our night in true ecstatic dance style with signature world beats, some big jungle bass and Latin inspired house to keep us dancing into the night! DJ Charcuterie does just that — mixing tasteful sounds from her travels across 50 countries to create the perfect charcuterie board of delicious weirdness. Often found at bass stages, she lives for the cathartic release of low frequencies and unpredictable grooves that move both body and spirit.

 About Rob: Rob creates vibrant textured imager in oil paints, often incorporating 3-D elements. His works focus on psychological and spiritual realms in a surreal fashion, bringing thought provoking imagery to life before your eyes.

Reva is an international facilitator and relationship coach that has been a part of the dance and transformative arts communities in Kitchener and Toronto for the past 12 years. With an academic background in relationship and trauma studies as well as professional training in dance, embodiment, sound healing, tantra and authentic relating forms, her work is inherently relational and invites participants into their full capacity to be with life and liberate their deep aliveness. You can always find her front and center, absolutely wild on the dance floor.
