How awkward is your Acro? I strive for strength and fluidity in my acrobatic movements. But when we’re in a creative mode, awkward as all heck. Sometimes it makes pretty shapes sometimes it just makes funny photos. Every once in a while it’ll be fun to post these awkward moments. Share some of yours in the comments... . . . . #Seattleacro #Acro #Acrobatics #Acrobatic #Acrobat #Acrobats #PartnerAcrobatics #Circus #Balance #Counterbalance #Handstand #AcroYoga #Yoga #HandtoHand #Teacher #Student #Lines #Angle’s #Movement #balance #Strength #ILoveThisPractice #HashtagsMakePostsUgly #Foottohand #croc #Splits #ILoveMyLife #ShoulderStand #Seattle

✨Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, peaceful and spectacular New Year✨ 2019 has been unforgettable! There are too many people to thank personally...but to everyone whose path I’ve crossed this year...know that you have made a huge impact and THANK YOU with all my heart❤️ Thank you for your support, collaboration, inspiration and connection. Thank you for helping me continue to share my story that can have an impact on others, shift perspectives and in turn inspire and make a positive difference to someone’s journey. ✨Time for reflection ✨ As we head towards the end of the year it’s that time to cast our minds back over the last 12 months and think about what we have achieved. These are some questions that I make an effort to answer every December. They can be pondered upon alone or discussed with friends, family or work colleagues. I simply wanted to share them again: What are you most proud of achieving this year? What brought you the greatest joy? What mantra sustained you? What did you learn to let go of? What did you learn about yourself? Happy reflecting all and remember...it’s all about celebrating the small successes along the way rather than concentrating on the negatives. Here’s to ending 2019 with as much positivity as we can and carrying that energy and learning forward into the New Year. As always...it’s about enjoying the journey. ✨🙏🏼✨ • This year has been utterly spectacular. I set my intention for love...and as if by magic, it crossed my path in February!! 👏👏 So...a new adventure of love, 13 counties: 2 never visited before, 11 for speaking engagements, some destinations for holiday, some to spend time with old friends and some to get to make new ones. I’ve been fortunate to have had some extraordinary people cross my path this year and their impact has touched my heart and soul forever. Truly grateful 🙏🏼 • A HUGE thank you to EVERYONE. Don’t every forget how amazing you are!! 💫 • • Here’s to a very special 2020 filled with MAGIC ✨🙏🏼✨ #motivation #authenticity #growth #inspiration #connection #gratitude #nyear #reflection #amazingyear #speakerslife #lovemyjob #relationshipgoals #love #happiness #positivevibes #bringiton #2019

Last Call for Applicants! The 2019 SeattleAcro Teacher Training applications are closing soon - the deadline is Monday, July 8th. If you've experienced shift (whether through laughter, tears, or brain-expanding epiphanies) in my classes and have resonated with my teaching, I am offering the opportunity to delve deeper. If you seek an intelligent challenge to prevailing theoretical dogmatism and desire to serve your community with greater perspective, I encourage you to apply. For the past seven years, I have offered this training to teachers whose passion is in gaining knowledge and increasing aptitude rather than amassing paper. Come to learn, not to collect! The focus will be on teaching techniques that will serve your students. This will not be a prescription on how to set up a class. What you say in the beginning, middle, and end is up to you as a teacher. You will learn my methods of communication, partnering, and most importantly, how to evaluate, diagnose, and effectively bring students the greatest change in their practice without overwhelming them. This is not for your physical practice. It is for your teaching practice. (There will be some physical components and time for training and play, because, after all, we are all still acrobats.) We will cover Acro mechanics and the methods of communicating them. We will also discuss leadership skills like conflict resolution and community support. All in all you will learn how to study studentship. To me, this is the essence of teaching. Come learn how to serve your students and teach with greater efficacy. As in the past, there will be required reading and discussions of ethics of teaching and personal conduct as a teacher and community leader. Participants will be required to adhere to a code of conduct and a commitment to foster a culture of safe and progressive learning. (Continued in comments)

Beak day celebrations wouldn't be complete without rambling stories and rambling scars to celebrate facial integrity with the one and only @jareth_gk 🗡 *No beaks were harmed in the making of this drunk history style reenactment.
