Iām not asking for a lotā¦ I love what i do and i love this industry, itās just certain situations like not getting paid on time or not getting paid at all for the work you have completed and delivered that really takes a toll on you. You start to see the dark side of the industry that you know in love it starts to eat at you and takes away the thrill that you once had. Cause rent aināt free and they couldnt care less if a client paid you or not. But I digress. Freelance aināt free and Iād really just like my money percelldugger

Growing up, I was taught to be a āreal manā is meant figuring everything out on your own.
So I did.
I learned how to survive.
How to move in silence.
How to carry weight without asking for help.
And yeahā¦ that mindset built me.
Made me resilient. Resourceful. Independent.
But it also kept me in survival mode...
It makes asking for help feel uncomfortableā¦ almost wrong.
I had to teach myself something newā¦
that I donāt have to do everything alone.
That itās okay to ask.
That itās okay to receive.
Still unlearning. Still practicing.
But Iām choosing a different way now.
(I still got the shot though lol š)
Got Friends?
Crazy how the games didnāt changeā¦ just the players did.
Back then, friendships were automatic.
Used to run outside and find your people without even trying.
Now everyoneās busy building lives, chasing goals, healing, survivingā¦
Nobody tells you growing up also means growing apart.
And somehow, making new friends feels harder than it ever should be.
So here I amā¦
still playing the same game
just learning what it means to not play it alone anymore.
Still learning how to find my people.

Working with @melinda_melrose has been nothing short of special.
Being this in sync with someone you met just a few months ago? Rare.
We move like weāve been working together for yearsā¦ half the time we donāt even need to speak, we just know.
And honestlyā¦ that level of trust? Thatās what makes everything hit different.
And somehow in between all that, we just be laughing the whole time š
