I documented Rebecca and Scott’s wedding at her family’s home in East Hampton, where the day unfolded with a quiet sense of intention.
They were married beneath a chuppah, surrounded by their closest people.
My focus was on what held the day together, not just the visible moments, but everything beneath them. The weight of each tradition, the presence of family, and the quiet exchanges that often pass quickly but stay with you.
It’s in these kinds of celebrations that I’m reminded that photography is less about documenting what something looked like, and more about preserving what it held.
