The same space, three different moments. From a deep amber that softens everything at night, to a clearer light that gently brings the space back into focus, without breaking its atmosphere. Light doesn’t need to be constant to feel coherent. It can adapt, slow down, and shift with you. #KeraiLighting #AdaptiveLight #HumanCentricLighting #LightingDesign #AtmosphereMatters

For thousands of years, we gathered around fire. It didn’t illuminate everything, only what was necessary. It created presence, closeness, a different way of being together. At Light + Building Frankfurt 2026, we brought that idea back through light. An experience built around 1001K amber, with no blue light and no urgency, designed to accompany the night rather than interrupt it. Shared here with Han, CEO of Kerai, Rosa Sánchez, Technical Director, Patricia Bustos, interior designer, and Jordi Saladie, Creative Director of Kerai, this moment reflects how light can shape not only what we see, but how we feel within a space. At Kerai, we believe light can do more than reveal. It can care, it can hold, it can embrace. Kerai luminaires are made to stand out. Their presence, their materiality, the weight of natural copper — they draw attention by themselves. But what they do with light is just as important. They can highlight what matters, bringing focus and clarity to objects and compositions. And when the moment asks for it, they step back, softening the space into a quieter, more intimate atmosphere where everything is still visible, but nothing feels overstated. It’s about finding a balance between presence and calm, where light not only illuminates, but defines how things are seen. Kerai suspension luminaires in natural bronze, designed to bring precision and atmosphere into the space. Each piece integrates a tunable system that shifts from a clear 3000K working light to a true 1001K amber, allowing the same environment to adapt seamlessly from day to night. Unlike standard PC amber solutions, Kerai uses real amber light, free of blue wavelengths, ensuring a softer visual experience and supporting the body’s natural rhythm. A balance between material, technology and light.

At night, light should feel like night. This sequence begins with a soft 1001K glow, created for the quiet hours, and gradually moves towards a clearer 3000K light for daytime use. The transition shows how the same space can adapt to different moments, without forcing the body out of its natural rhythm. Because the way we light a space should change with the day — and especially with the night.

M_01 has been, above all, an experience. A space where materials, proportions and light come together in a very quiet way, almost without you noticing at first. And yet, when you spend a bit of time in it, you realise how much the light is doing. At Kerai, this is what we care about: creating lighting that supports the space and the moment, whether it’s during the day or late at night, without breaking that sense of calm. Thank you to everyone who stopped, sat down, and took a moment here. Getting a glass of water without fully waking up: a difficult problem made simple by us. With Kerai at 1001K, the light remains soft and warm by not having any trace of blue light, allowing the body to stay in its natural rhythm, without disruption. The space is still visible, but never overwhelming. As the day begins, that same environment can gradually shift towards a clearer, more functional light, adapting to the needs of each moment. Because light is not just about seeing, it’s about how we live through the day and the night. - Kerai.

With Kerai at @marbelladesignandart M_01, light becomes part of how the space is experienced. Our luminaires are not meant to stand out, but to support the atmosphere. Adapting between clearer light for presence and warmer tones for moments of calm. As the visitor moves through the space, the light shifts subtly, accompanying each material and revealing its texture without interrupting the overall harmony. A quiet layer, designed to be felt more than seen. Exhibitor: @ramosycobos Space design: @studio.vanesacasas

Kerai’s presence at Marbella Design and Art Exhibition. An exploration of space through material, light, and rhythm. — M_01 is a stand inspired by the quiet depth of traditional Japanese architecture, where the experience unfolds through atmosphere rather than form. Organised around a central tatami, the space flows continuously, defined by layers of bamboo, wool, glass, and warm amber light. Each element is used for its intrinsic qualities, creating a sensory environment where texture and reflection shape perception. Within this context, Kerai lighting becomes part of the composition — guiding the transition of light throughout the space, from functional clarity to a softer, more intimate glow. A subtle presence, shaping how the space is felt. Thanks to: Exhibitor: @ramosycobos Space design: @studio.vanesacasas
