Watching this film grow over the past 3 1/2 years has been a beautiful and at times devastating experience. Can’t say how proud I am of
@thestephenhosier and his incredible resolve in shaping this story into ‘Atilla’. This doc has become a deeply emotional journey and I hope that everyone reading this will try and find time to come see it on Oct 10th! Tri-lensed between myself,

Today,
@camhnews and
@workmanartsto announced ATTILA will make its World Premiere at Rendezvous with Madness on Tuesday, October 10 (World Mental Health Day) for a Special Presentation. The screening will take place at 7 PM at the Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema.
In his feature film debut, director
@thestephenhosier joins his childhood friend, Richard Csanyi, in investigating the life and death of the latter’s twin brother, Attila. Found dead on a Hamilton rooftop in May 2020, the 28-year-old was expelled from a long-term care residence even as he grappled with addiction and schizophrenia. A creative expression of grief and healing, ATTILA compassionately explores the intersection of personal trauma and the systems that fail those in need, while striving toward a place of forgiveness and understanding.
Tickets can be purchased at the link in the Bio! All proceeds go towards Workman Arts in support of artists living with mental health and addiction issues.
