Lots of post Kennett Jazz & Funk Fest ramblings coming soon... but I'll start with this... we had a great core team to make it all happen. Big shout out to Dave Mattock and Tom Patti for all the work... we were relentless from last summer thru this past weekend and it turned out to be a fantastic festival all around.

The first night of @kennettjazzfest was an amazing night of great music! Every band was outstanding – and so very talented. And the sound at @thekennettflash was so good. So, so good! Can’t wait for today’s musicians to jam out at @kennett_library and The Kennett Flash. Bring it!
Night 1 was an absolute burner!! Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support live music! Looking forward to another fantastic day! Jazz Big Bands at the Kennett Library starting at 1pm and then the party continues at The Flash starting at 3:30. We've also got some student ensembles kicking things off in the lobby of each venue (1230 at the library and 230 at the Flash) so come out early to support the next generation of performers!

The Kennett Jazz and Funk Fest is Chester County’s premier celebration of jazz and funk.
Each year dozens of musicians and hundreds of listeners descend on Kennett Square, Pennsylvania for the three-day festival that showcases exceptional jazz and funk artists, supports local talent, partners with community organizations, and fosters an environment where music can be experienced, celebrated and shared by all.
All net proceeds will go to support our Gift of Music Mission.

We'll be closing off the parking lot behind the Kennett Flash for a parking lot hang full of food, music, and the Rainbow Records bus!!
