A global exhibition, landing in KC 👀
Go behind the scenes with Hayley Millar Baker’s work as it’s installed for “Second Nature: Photography in the Age of the Anthropocene”, featuring 43 photo-based artists from around the world.
Opening Friday, May 22!

🎥 We are counting down the days to the special screening of Heehyun Choi's film "A Motionless Movie" happening this Saturday at Kemper Museum!
As a part of our ongoing programming for the exhibition "The World in Kansas City," "A Motionless Movie" takes inspiration from a 1920s Korean newspaper article that bore the paradoxical title “Umjigiji-Anneun Yeonghwa (A Motionless Movie).” The work imagines the perspectives of Korean women reading the women's section of newspapers about Hollywood news, loosely tracing the trajectory of American actress Clara Bow featured in the article.
