π« Meltdowns are part of the process. Itβs normal to freak out a little when youβre making a big identity change. Your brain likes what is familiar, so it will try to tell you youβre crazy for following your rockstar dreams.

But more than anything, 80s glam metal was about permission.
Permission to be loud.
Permission to be weird.
Permission to be entirely TOO MUCH.
When I was younger, I was only a secret metalhead. Because I was afraid to live out loud.
But as I grew into my rockstar era and I embraced βmy more is moreβ motto, the unapologetic nature of 80s glam metal became the foundation of my music and my entire brand.
And I wouldnβt have it any other way.

But that girl was also afraid to be seen. She thought she was ugly and fat.
So she retreated to her safe space β books.

But today?
Iβm upside down on a pole in platform boots and belting out rock songs. πΈ

What made the difference?
When I took my first pole class, I knew it would change me forever. Because there was something about both the strength required and the feminine energy of it all that brought these two sides of me out from the shadows.
But more than this, pole gave me PERMISSION.
Permission to wear little booty shorts even though I wasnβt skinny.
Permission to express myself in sensual ways.
Permission to be wild and vulnerable all at the same time.

But more than this, I didnβt wait until I was βreadyβ to start. In fact, at the time of my first pole class, I was in the worst shape of my life.
But something in me said βdo this anyway.β
And it changed my life.

So, this is your message today to step fully into who you are. No matter if you think youβre too ugly or fat. No matter if you think youβre too old or too young. No matter what Aunt Edna might say.
Because the price of staying small is too high.
But the reward?
Becoming yourself.

I was nervous to try it on stage because I was supposed to be just singing, and this felt dramaticβ¦EXTRA!
But thatβs the thing about becoming unforgettable:
You usually have to do the thing that scares you FIRST.

Because the people who stand out arenβt the ones trying to fit perfectly into the mold.
Theyβre the ones willing to bring THEIR version.
Their weirdness.
Their edge.
Their magic.
And honestly?
The audience reacted BIGGER because I stopped trying to βperform correctlyβ and started performing like ME.
Thatβs what Living Loud really means.
Not louder volume.
