New families need support. That’s why @famconinternational and @nolahealthdept partnered to start a New Orleans chapter of Family Connects: an early home visit service that sends nurses to check on and provide care for newborns and their mothers. The result? Participants have attended more postpartum checkups, experienced fewer repeat hospitalizations and have 28% lower Medicaid spending. Early intervention creates #ThrivingFutures.
