JIJEI PRESENTS: Bad Bitch Music
Through their hybrid DJ/MC performance, London-based duo Bad Bitch Music (BBM) fuse elements of underground rap, UK electronic music and other afro-diasporic styles in a entirely unexpected way.
This wide-reaching mix of sounds does not come from an unwillingness to be part of a bigger scene. BBM are firmly planted in the tradition of British soundsystem culture and Black British party music. Through their selections and lyrics BBM shape that tradition to the current moment.
Expect to hear a mix of original tracks, edits, classics and undiscovered gems, in which the though-line is big beats and sex-driven lyrics. Come see BBM at our JIJEI secret South London warehouse party tonight!
