Issue No. 5 Feature • Nestled within the arresting alpine topography of the Snowy Mountain region in southern New South Wales, Thredbo Chalet by @xs_sml is an antipodean fusion of Japanese schematics, mid-century design integrity, Scandinavian simplicity, and native Australian sentiment. The intents imposed on what functions as a secondary home have informed an unfussy and enduring contemporary residence in a quiet accord with its breathtaking surroundings and grounded by beautiful usefulness and a study in the absence of white.

Site set up and interior strip out underway at our latest project in Double Bay.
The scope of works includes the amalgamation of 2 heritage terraces as well as an extension and complete renovation.

This will be our biggest project to date.
The build involves a large site cut into rock. New garage and storeroom with lift shaft to get to the main house. New infinity edge pool looking out to the spit. Complete renovation and extension of the existing house and full landscaping of the property.
The transformation of this original brick house in Newport has far exceeded our clients expectations. We are so happy with the finished product. Great work by all.
