When Teleri met Kaia 💖
Not going to lie, I was pretty nervous how this was going to go, even got T a camera as a “big sister” present. But it was all cuteness, cuddles and a persistent “I want to push baby Kaia in the pram!”
She’s here ✨👶🏼 Kaia Mackenzie Nicholson arrived on Wednesday 11th February at 8.07pm weighing 4.05kg. Mum, Dad and the most excited big sister, Teleri, are smitten (even magic is happy) 🫶🏻
Jury is still out on her hair colour!!! ❤️🤎

RETIRED
I used to think it was a scary word - retirement. To stop something you’ve done for so long and poured everything into to. But for me, I don’t feel scared, I just feel incredibly grateful and the deepest pride.
Water polo gave me the highest highs, the hardest lessons, and a lifetime of memories.
To the Stingers who came before me, you inspired me to play with all my heart and gave me the opportunity to compete on the biggest stage.
To my teammates, coaches, staff — you carried me farther than I could ever swim alone.
To my family, you always believed in the fiercest, strongest, most relentless version of me and picked me when I didn’t quite get there.
In a lot of ways, Water Polo raised me and I grew up in the Stingers. To bring our daughter into my final campaign really was a full circle moment. Competing as a mum was the greatest challenge and the greatest honor. I hope I’ve shown Teleri — and others — what it means to chase a dream relentlessly, to fight for it, and to walk away with your head high.
Stepping away from the national team, but I’ll never be too far away from the pool. Excited for what’s next. I’ll never stop cheering on, believing in and admiring the incredible athletes who represent the Stingers.
