SouthBank turns 50 this year - so we’ve been reminiscing. This is Rach’s first time skating Southbank, around April 2015
It was also her first time back on a board in a long time, hence the lack of skate shoes 👌 She didn’t intend to get back into skating that day- she just wanted to be able to say that she had skated the iconic spot, in fear that it was would be demolished by the Southbank Centre.
Thankfully it’s still here today and has a protection put in place thanks to the @longlivesouthbank campaign 🫶
