“Somebody gotta be the adults, we are the new adults” Pretty much somebody has to start making the photo albums now
There’s nothing like an idea coming to life and I want to say thank you to @y.njie@byheld for partnering with me and my brand @4921.co and making this Photo Album Making event a success! ✨
Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday, it was a beautiful time of community, genuine conversations, and memory building, everything was so Intentional. Taking the time to sit and choose what images you wanted to print, decorating the book, to writing on the back of each image and dating it, and leaving with blank pages to fill,
Also want to thank @nylahousebk for allowing us to use their space to do our event and being super fast with service with their delicious food and drinks for our guests!
We going to run it back, promise! ✨

My Aunt Maxine is the most stylish person I knew growing up. Seeing how she mixed prints, and textures was amazing, but truthfully that’s what Jamaican Fashion is, it’s Bold, unapologetic, and risk taking, an influence that often gets overlooked.
I gave @aliawestgirl my mood board, and being of no Jamaican background she bodied, she took the time to do the homework, and @hausofroxy and I (both Jamaican) were impressed.
This by far was my favorite look of the shoot. These are just a few images, more to come for something special đź“•

Growing up between America and Jamaica, you learn to find ways to bring both worlds together. Here we channeled a bit of Diana Ross and Grace Jones, two people who are different, but somewhat similar, both Iconic.

Milton & Arosa for Project Pictures Last Forever 🎞️
Milton (81) and Arosa (75), have been together for 55 years and married for 52 years. They have 6 daughters together. They were both born in Gimme Me Bit, Clarendon, Jamaica.
Milton the water, Arosa the fire, they do in fact balance each other.
It was such an honor to photograph them both and interview them, they were a bit skeptical at first, but they warmed up after a while, and we shared a few laughs. I really do love sitting down and talking to the seasoned folks, personally it brings me joy, and I learn something new each time.
If you would like to be apart of PLF please feel free to message me.
