A 4’ by 6’ trompe-l’oeil of the Four Peaks and desert with wildlife located in Cave Creek, Arizona. This one was done 9 years ago right before moving to AZ and becoming a teacher. It was one of my favorites to work on and my clients were the best.💚
2025 is about getting back to this life right here. Painting murals and building clientele— I was in a roll with it a few years ago and have put murals on the back burner since teaching full time.
I love teaching - but I also am aiming to find more of a balance moving forward to equally continue accomplishing my goals and dreams when it comes to painting - especially murals.

This is the latest mural I have worked on for @homelandbrewco opening up in Anthem, AZ.
This mural was a blessing of an opportunity to work on — I loved that some of the kids of the community were willing to come help paint it and be a part of the process. I am grateful to know such helpful and hardworking kiddos - the timing would’ve taken much longer without your help! Thank you all 🙏🏼
Creating murals with my kiddos, outside of the school environment has always been the goal. This mural reminded me of the strength in community and it was really a timely gift to be able to work on it and be chosen as the artist to design this. It was the owners idea to focus on community specifically and to include key points and locations of Anthem in the letters with a post card view theme. We worked together through some ideas and this was the result! Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this Mike and JJ 🙏🏼

This mural is located in the new tap room that’s opened up in Anthem called Homeland Brew Co. — it is right next to the Havana Cigar Bar. Make sure to check it out if you’re in the area! It is a tap room, however there are lots of games and a grassy area for kiddos to hang too. And I do believe it is dog friendly. 🐾 🏕️ 🍻
