After our group in "Love Your Brain Yoga" members decided to engage in balance challenge with stacking their yoga blocks. Much fun was had!

Our members recently went to the Seacoast Greenway trail in Portsmouth! Members took to the trail with Northeast Passage cycles and some of their own! What a great way to get outside, connect with nature and community, all while taking a leisurely ride! A big thank you again to Northeast Passage for transportation, cycles and expert skills.

Our member, Anna, recently took the Krempels Brain along with her to the music festival Coachella! She loved finding a way to take Krempels with her during her travels, keeping the community close to her heart.
As we continue to mourn the loss of our great leader, we have the gift of seeing David Krempels' impact every single day. In the conversations shared over coffee, in the courage it takes to try something new again, and in the simple but powerful act of showing up for one another. We are profoundly aware David’s legacy is not something behind us; it is something we carry forward.
Please stay tuned as we prepare to announce David's Celebration of Life very soon.
Dear Krempels Community,
Today, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our founder, David Krempels, from a brief but aggressive bout with bone cancer.
Over 25 years ago, David believed in something and, at the time, few others did. He believed specialized support after a brain injury should not end when rehabilitation ends. He believed people deserved a place to continue healing, to reconnect, and to rebuild their lives surrounded by a community of fellow survivors who get it.
David not only believed it - he built it.
Today, more than a thousand survivors of brain injury have found connection over isolation and purpose instead of uncertainty, all because of David.
At Krempels Brain Injury Center, we see his impact every single day. In the conversations shared over coffee, in the courage it takes to try something new again, and in the simple but powerful act of showing up for one another.
We - members, staff, donors, and volunteers - are grieving this loss alongside David’s family and friends. At the same time, we are profoundly aware David’s legacy is not something behind us; it is something we carry forward.
Our commitment remains unchanged. Krempels Brain Injury Center will continue to provide community-based, evidence-informed programming for adults living with brain injury. We will help all in need, for as long as they need, regardless of their ability to pay. This promise is at the heart of everything David created, and it will continue to guide everything we do.
In the days ahead, we will share ways to honor David’s life and legacy together.
For now, we simply invite you to reflect on the impact he has had on this organization, on this community, and on so many individual lives.
In peace and love for our great leader,
Cariann Harsh Daley
Executive Director
The Krempels team visited Spaulding Rehabilitation to speak to them about our programs and services. We were fortunate to meet with Aaron Moore, the Manager for Rehabilitation Services, along with two of their staff from therapeutic recreation, one of whom was a former intern at Krempels!

LoveYourBrain Foundation provided us with an overview of their organization, what they do, and the evidence behind their programming. Ellie also led us through a Chair Yoga session so that members could experience the benefits first-hand!
1 in 4 Americans have sustained a traumatic brain injury in the U.S., and each has a story to share. It’s up to us – survivors, families, caregivers, and friends – to tell those stories. Join us in spreading the word by telling our community who you are, where you’ve been, what you’ve accomplished, and where you hope to go here at the Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire's awareness page: /public-affairs/public-awareness
