I’m Makayla, better known as Kay, a portrait and wedding photographer based out of Atlanta.
It’s been years since I took the time to get professional branding and headshots for myself. But when God tells you it’s time to prepare for the next season, you do just that
I want to say thank you to everyone I’ve worked with thus far, those that have chosen me multiple times to bring their ideas to life, and thank you to those that are even considering me for their next concept or special occasion.

Sending a special Mother’s Day to the moms out there that get it done, show up, make it happen. And do it all so gracefully. You are the rock within your families. Your son’s first love and your daughter’s first example of what it means to be a woman. I love witnessing my friends step into motherhood all while never missing a beat with themselves. Tianna, they say a man that finds a wife finds a good thing, well good ain’t good enough to describe you and what you’ve brought to my life. Through the lowest lows and highest highs we’ve stuck together and continue to grow closer each and everyday. Our love is rooted in friendship, laughter, honesty and transparency - letting the walls down and truly seeing each other, flaws and all. Not just excepting them but challenging each other to change in areas that don’t serve you or us as a union. God, I thank you for bringing us together, keeping us together, and guiding us season after season in this journey.
