Foxwood Open starts today! 🦊 The practice round with my girl @missfrisbees was a blast and I was really loving crushing lines with my @kastaplast Vass. The Gote was my surprise workhorse which is unexpected given this is known as a distance course 💥 This is one of my favorite courses and tournaments to play. 2nd Place - Winter Thaw 2026 🥈 A true tale of two rounds at White Spruce. Round 1 was full of silly decisions, unfortunate rollaways, and missed putts from deep in C1 cost me a lot of strokes. I seemed to be allergic to pars 🙃 Half-runs instead of routine layups? ✅ Running uphill testers? ✅ Not exactly the game plan. But I finished strong with my first ever birdie on hole 20 (from reds) 🐦 I flexed my trusty, beachy @shedyzerdiscs @kastaplast Vass to C1’s edge and cashed a big uphill putt to just sneak onto lead card for the final round 🫣 That putt gave me life - and it showed in Round 2. Way cleaner, more controlled, and it felt so good to get revenge on a few holes. Even with an anticlimactic bogey on the final hole, I shot a 942-rated +2 and locked in 2nd place 🥳 White Spruce has always had my number but I'm proving to myself tourney after tourney that if you play smart and stay cool, you can make it out alive relatively unscathed. Congrats to Colleen for the W, who is practically the Queen of Spruce at this point 👑 We decided this year our tradition for FPO champs is to do a different group pose every tournament. I'm not sure what we were going for here, but it's still ICONIC ✨ Thanks to Spencer and the tourney crew for putting on another great event, and coming up with some fun temp holes (I might be biased as I away with the birdie on hole A both rounds 😁) 🙌 Next tourney: Project15 Open at one of my fav courses in Ontario! @torontoopen 2026 🏙️❄️ Checked off playing in the snow (and my first rules infraction 😅) on my disc golf tourney bingo card ✅ As the only person in my division, this event was just me vs. the course (and the rules). Let’s just say…the course won 🫣 I’ll never pass up a chance to play an event at my home course, Scarlett Woods! It’s a tough track in the best conditions, and it proved to be an even bigger beast with the snowstorm, cold, and wind 🌨️🌬️ Round 1, I struggled to find confident footing, which led to some uncommitted throws. I also pushed for a few lines I probably shouldn’t have instead of playing it safe. Still, I managed to shoot a 909-rated round. Huge shoutout to @anjeroo and Adam for coming out, following along for a few holes, cheering us on, and snapping some awesome photos - such a morale boost 🥰 Round 2 didn’t start on the best note. I was late getting back from lunch off-site and missed the first hole, taking an automatic +4 on one of the easier par 3s. I felt awful - I had tried to make it back in time, and my cardmates were left figuring things out without a third. They handled it with total grace, and I took the penalty on the chin. Without that mistake, I likely would’ve shot 900+ rated. I tried to push and make up strokes, but the added pressure didn’t help me convert. Lesson learned the hard way 🤦🏼‍♀️ On the bright side, temperatures warmed up for Round 2, melting the snow and giving us slightly better conditions - though the wind still had plenty to say. Despite the tough winter weather, I had an absolute blast playing with Sandy and BonBon. So fun watching them crush drives and cash big putts 🙌 Always such a supportive, lighthearted vibe with those two - can’t wait to tee it up again! The 2026 season is finally here! 🎉🥏 Just like last year, I kicked things off at the King’s Forest Open - which, according to my 2025 stats post, was my worst event of the season. First tournament after the off-season + unpredictable spring weather = chaos. This year looked like it might follow the same script. I barely played or practiced putting this winter - it was brutally cold, long, and snowier than usual. Normally I’ll grind through snowy rounds, but this year even I tapped out. On top of that, I’m transitioning to a Kastaplast-only bag, so I’m still learning my discs. So I came in with low expectations and one goal: have fun and enjoy being back on the course. Despite windy conditions and some last-minute layout changes (including temp holes announced the night before), the day actually turned out pretty great. We only saw a little rain late in Round 1, and it was the warmest day we’ve had since fall - even sunny at times 🌞 Round 1 was a bit shaky (those temp holes got me 😅), but I cleaned it up in Round 2 with a 904-rated round. I was hitting most of my lines, trusting the new discs, and putting without fear. Sure, there were some OBs, tree kicks, and missed putts, but I’m proud of how I handled the tough moments - and snagging birdies on tough holes like 11 and the new 12 felt great 🙌 In the end, it was enough to sneak onto the podium and improve my rating 21 points over this event last year 🥳🥉 The real MVPs were my overstable lineup: @kastaplast Guld, Stål, Järn, and Berg X - absolute lifesavers in the wind 🌬️ Huge shoutout to my cardmates and to the strong FPO field this year. Checked disc golf in Belize off the list ✅🥏🇧🇿 Took a quick break from scaling to the top of Mayan ruins and trekked through the lush Belizean jungle to chase some chains ⛓️ We got to play with the course designer/owner's 10-year-old grandson who guided us through the course and impressed us with with his wicked sidearm 💥 The fearsome course guard Spot checked in on us periodically to make sure we weren't up to any monkey business 🐕 Even though I lost my first run Alva and got eaten alive by bugs, I still enjoyed this unique course 😃 📍 Trek Stop DGC #discgolf #discgolfbelize #belize #discgolflife #discgolfgirls

The 2016 trend, but make it frisbee 🥏🌌 Throwback to an era where I was deep into my competitive ultimate days and just dipping my toes into disc golf. If you told me 10 years later I'd do a full 180 and go pro in disc golf, I wouldn't have believed you 😅 But here I am in 2026, still throwing discs - both kinds!
