The City of Toronto is studying how parks and recreational spaces support social connection, inclusion and a sense of belonging in our communities.
If parks, or activities like disc golf, have made a positive difference in your life, this is a great opportunity to share your experience. Your input can help shape how these spaces are designed and improved in the future.

Congratulations to Lawrence Wong of Team Marilyn Bell Park on winning the main raffle item of the Toronto Open!
Lawrence plans to celebrate his win by playing a round of disc golf at Dentonia Park!
When asked how he felt about this win Lawrence was quoted as saying: âas good as this win felt it pales in comparison to how I will feel when Team Bell wins the Glow Down Cup this fallâ for the 3rd time.

A full week later and we STILL can't stop thinking about it. đ
The Toronto GLOWpen at Dentonia Park was something special! 58 players braved the cold to play the first-ever glow event on the full 18-hole Toronto Open layout, tackling one of the most challenging and beautiful courses in the city of Toronto.
Shoutout to Chainlink Disc Golf, the Toronto Open volunteer crew, and congratulations once again to our inaugeral champion Sean!
Nights like this are why we do what we do. đđŠľ
Big congratulations to Michael Lewis on this hole in one during the @torontoopen at @dentoniaparkdiscgolfcourse ! He managed to get this on hole 10 of the back nine.

The 6th Toronto Open Disc Golf Festival (TO) is now over. As we reflect on the best year yet, we wanted to take a moment to thank the team who make this annual event happen. The whole idea behind the TO is to showcase the incredible disc golf scene thatâs grown across the City of Toronto.
Throughout the week, we highlight different pockets of the community:
⢠Monday: East End Putting League
⢠Wednesday: Glowâinâtheâdark at Marilyn Bell Park
⢠Thursday: Glowâinâtheâdark at the new Beaches layout at Woodbine Park
⢠Saturday: Two PDGAâsanctioned rounds at Dentonia Park, followed by Glow at Dentonia with Dr. Glow
⢠Sunday: Two PDGAâsanctioned rounds at Scarlett Woods
Weâre extremely fortunate to have an amazing group of volunteers who make all of this possible. Jack Coney leads the East End Putting League. The glow communities at Beaches and Marilyn Bell Park are powered by Dave Ruh, Jack Coney, David Lyall, Dr. Glow and Andrew Kavanagh. And at Dentonia and Scarlett Woods, people like Josh Saxe, Sean Galbraith, Geo Noseworthy, Greg Hildebrand, and Daniel Corey helped to keep the event running smoothly. Weâre also incredibly grateful for the support of GolfTheSix who supported an open clubhouse for a second year, with a special shout out to Neil Siomra. Big thank you to Kyle Labine, and Ezra Houser for all their work supporting Scarlett Woods, and people like Darrel Nantais at Dentonia Park who help get support the L&F program. More to come via TSC call outs.
Weâre also proud to be working with Zach Hoy from ZI3D, a Toronto-based artist who creates 3D course maps for us, Scarlett Woods, Dentonia, Beaches, and has also done work with TRCA, Conservation Halton and some private golf courses in the region. And of course, weâre grateful for Dwight Powell from Ledgestone, who, along with the entire Ledgestone team have been incredibly supportive of the growth of disc golf in Canada. Weâre proud that a number of TO team members will be a part of the World Championship team with him and Nate Heinold later this year.
If youâd like to join our team, please reach out any time. Weâve already started planning TO 2027!
