This is @katterek , reporting 365 days after the launch of @sporesmagazine , just happy to be healthy and have time see the band on Halloween. Forgive me my time delay, this is from Friday 30th of November, I am seeing no other band than @bigskyorchestra that I had pleasure to discover through putting together the designs for "Spellbound on The Farm" interview by @jouissancehaver and accompanied by his photographs and @jake.png illustrations in the first issue of Spores. We are coming to terms with the fact that we don't have the resources to put out SPORES 2 in print and the decision to do the website and pour our work into social media for now until we can reach a larger audience. I've seen some familiar faces and it made me think, we did it, last season we spread some spores. This season the forage might be scares but don't be fooled, if you dare to look beneath the surface of the forest floor, the ideas have been germinating for months and soon they are ready to sprout like the late bloomers. Thank you for your patience, forgive us the time delay - technology might be fast but we are slow and have the air to breathe. random situation last november @kim_paviano comes to myself and @dessybaeva grinning saying "This guys wants to pay me £100 for wearing his ear ring on stage". @espuma.band get on stage. Groove is in the heart and for a moment I forget how exhausted I was in November. I'm shooting my girls - @dessybaeva with ruffled legpants at the ankle, mary janes and her signature locks a pilar of the groove and the most playful vibe, @maisiesophia in her ethereal gowns looking like witchy priestess who carries the wisdom of the wind in her voice and @kim_paviano with her simple German minimalism - black turtleneck and a checkered skirt, looking striking on bass but I can't get a good shot at her. And then the same guy comes to me and and asks me how much I would charge for taking a few photos of her for him, because he is trying to promote his jewellery and his vision was that this earring should be worn by a model that plays in the band. I say - I'll see what i can capture but I'm not prepared for this with my gear. So I try. A moment behind the show. I always thought stage lighting is like shooting in a studio with a lot of cool gels. This is what we got (and few others but I'm picky). The guy pays and mysteriously disappears. All I know he was a half Polish Jewelry designer and his email was Matt Paladium Sky.
