Kickstarting our Lunar New Year week long holiday with an early prosperity toast with family Wednesday🧧 Thanks to sis Bella for finding this place & the Lunar New Year treat 💖
I am grateful for my first boss @danielboey , whom i worked for during my poly days, as fashion show backstage dresser and stylist assistant. I bought my first iMac after I got my first big paycheck from him for Singapore Fashion Festival 2005. With dis iMac, i started freelancing my motion graphic works. With his almost-weekly paycheck too, I managed to cover all my FYP production costs. So, without Daniel Boey, there’s no Kathkucing.
Going on a trip without any plan is the best plan! We still ended up having good hunts at Bali thanks to my cousins for using Google map to find:
1️⃣ Kai Café & Bar - Good brunch place near our villa. You can take a pool dip before your meal on hot days.
2️⃣ Kohaku - Edible Crystal Candy that makes an inquisite gifts for closed ones. Another good find near our villa.
3️⃣ Bebek - Too hungry & lazy to head out so we ordered via Gojek
4️⃣ Warung Cahaya - Love Bali for their sambar mata, especially at here & they serve crispy pork too! Prefer their fried rice over white rice 😋
5️⃣ Gusto Gelato & Caffé - Great gelato place in Bali that serves homemade gelato made with local flavours
6️⃣ Revolver - if you want to head to a cafe where coffee is the heart of who they are, come over here! The coffee drinks look so good that my cousin even bought a bag of coffee beans home. Carrot cake is a good size to share after a full meal, too ☕️
7️⃣ Darna - We decided to try Palestinian food for dinner & gosh, it tasted so good ✌️ there's shisha available too, but we didn't go for it
8️⃣ Nyom Nyom Coffee - I don't enjoy waking up starving for food, so after dinner, I walked past this cafe & saw that they offer a variety of brunch & Indonesian food options. Thankfully, they had bagel too so I took it to go with chicken. The server was very meticulous to help me separate the meat, onions & bagel so that I can prepare breakfast with it the very next day ✨️
So thankful for all the food places we have explored & tried after the wedding thanks to my cousins leading the way 💖
