The poor girl has been through a lot lately, but sheās been so so brave, much more than her hapless and very stressed papa.
One day, when we are ready, we will tell you what happened. There is a great lesson here to be learned from what happened.
In the meantime, Iām spending all the time I can to be with her to help her heal, both physically and mentally.
Thank you to everyone who reached out with messages of love, and also to our absolutely amazing support system. It does take a village, and itās greatly appreciated.

I spoke with our animal communicator Laura Bird and am absolutely heartbroken to know how sad and traumatised Lucas has been these six years of his life. All he wanted was to be loved and instead, he got neglect, fear and abuse.
He has some medical and development issues which have never been addressed and itās definately affected him.
But despite everything heās gone through, he remains the sweetest, kindest, compassionate dog overflowing with empathy, and he has so much love to give.
Lucas has a strong support system behind him now, and we will work hard to give him the best life ever from henceforth.

Lucas has started his training programme with Fred Leow.
Apart from helping him integrate into the real world and helping him with his skittishness, Fred is also getting him comfortable with walking with a leash.
