“I make oil paintings that resemble low-resolution camcorder footage, using blur and distortion as visual language. By translating these digital flaws into paint, the work slows down images like recalling a fleeting memory made imperfect and softened by time, leaving the past “felt” more than remembered clearly.”
Fugue Gallery is pleased to spotlight Katie Wittenberg, whose work is being featured in our current exhibition - “Reflective Glass” curated by Carter Guthrie and Adam Nordby. Available by appointment: Mar 7 - Mar 28, 2026
