I thought I’d share these thoughts that I’m having to come to terms with when it comes to the Baby Decision - the fact that either way there will be some loss, but also happiness. It’s been a hard realisation knowing that either way, I’ll feel some sadness, which also makes the decision feel even more confusing and harder. As always, over thinking this but also, it’s the biggest decision a person could make and one that should be taken this seriously!
Secondly: thanks SO much for all your comments on my video the other week. Your comments/messages were so great and I know now that I’m not the only one who feels completely baffled about the decision and that feels comforting!!
She’s finished! I think this might be the greatest achievement of my life so far (other than you know, being a great cat mum). I have enjoyed knitting every step of this jumper and can’t believe I managed it 11 months after teaching myself how to knit.
When I first saw this pattern I fell in love, it really reminds me of all the blue china I find when mudlarking on the Thames so I just had to make it.

Sticky Toffee Pudding and Victoria Sponge TEA? I’m trying them both for you today. @yorkshiretea constantly smashing it out of the park with their amazing tea creations. I think the vicky sponge is my fav of the two. Have you tried them yet?
Very honest review of @doverstreetcounter and spoiler alert - it was incredible! One of my favourite restaurant experiences this year. I’ve always loved a bar seat and watching chefs at work and this particularly felt like a real show - the chaos and carnage of a Friday night dinner whilst eating THE BEST cheese burger. If you go, order the cheeseburger, loaded fries and the carrots. Incredible!
Apparently, the short gals are shopping in @zara Kids for their outfits, so I had to try it for myself. Surprisingly well-fitting trousers and also very affordable. Tempted to turn this into a series so let me know which kids department to try out next!

Marrakech day two!
A wonderful day shopping in the souks - we found the wool market which as a knitter was the DREAM! Lots of Moroccan tea was consumed and even an oat latte in the souks (it’s crazy how much Marrakech has changed since I first visited in 2011!). We finished with a swim and dinner at @nomadmarrakech - perfection!

2- Started off with lunch at @lejardinmarrakech (note - I love the decor of this restaurant but I’m always disappointed by the food & have better recommendations to share)
3 - day one ootd
4-5- mooch around the souks
6-8 - we went for tea at @1112marrakech which was so great we went back the following day!
9-11 - pool time at our beautiful Riad @palais_blanc_riad (my third time staying here, love it)
12 - evening ootd
13 & 14 - out for dinner. Stay tuned for full recommendations and travel guide in a couple of weeks!!
Did I roll my eyes far enough into the back of my head while listening to Episode 102 guest, @katesnooks , share some of the comments she’s gotten after publicly discussing her indecision about kids?
One of my favorite things to remind clients of when they start spiralling about sentiments like the ones Katie shares here, is something @maryscupofteaa shared once (and in relation to different topic — but for which the point still stands) —
“For YOU.”
You can silently mutter (or shout out loud, should you prefer) this any time someone gets on their high horse about what they allegedly know is best.
“Life without kids is meaningless” — for YOU.
“Life without kids is selfish” — for YOU.
The upside is that you don’t deny anyone’s personal truth, and at the same time, it can help you remember that their story need not be yours.

If I tracked every hour of knitting, how long would it take to knit the #baguettejacket PART THREE!
What do you think about the finished time it took? It was way under what I thought it’d be - I’m so excited to now have my dream jacket in my wardrobe, can’t believe I somehow managed to knit this with my own bare hands! It’s improved my confidence ten fold!
