Some of my favorites since 2019 😊 Happy day to my human. You love unconditionally, you’re the strongest woman I know and you continue to inspire me to be the best version of myself.
Thank you for being the glue to our little family, I wouldn’t dream of doing life with anyone but you. I am SO proud of you babe.
Cheers to another year around the sun. ❤️

LOVED this impromptu photoshoot with @katedullard . She pushed me out of my comfort zone here while still helping me feel in control. Love the energy of these photos! She did a great job keeping the natural look while highlighting the aspects I love about my physique. She's an amazing photographer!
Just a note on these...I've always loved the look of training in just a sports bra and shorts or leggings. It's such an empowering display of femininity and strength. When I started my gender affirming hormone therapy, this was one of the looks I was most excited to try. I held myself back from it for so long and told myself that when I looked "fem enough" I would let myself wear this to the gym.
I eventually realized that if I tried to wait until I was totally comfortable with my body before wearing the clothes I want to wear, then I would be waiting forever. Moreover, I was just reinforcing the idea that I'm not good enough to wear what I want to wear, and that I needed permission from society to express myself. That just made me feel more self-conscious about my body and my identity as a trans person!
I decided to reject that idea that I needed to look a certain way to wear this outfit that I love. And you know what? Instead of feeling embarrassed, I actually feel even more empowered. Because it was never about finding the clothes that fit my body type, it's about wearing what makes me feel like a badass. And taking back my right to express myself without regard for what society thinks feels pretty badass to me.
Thanks to @ember.tn for being such an accepting gym where I feel comfortable being myself! I've never worked anywhere that had felt so much like home.
