I have some big news! I am diversifying my career within the entertainment industry. As much as I love makeup, I have had a big desire to develop and produce films the past few years and I finally have the opportunity to take that big step by joining the team over at @storymillentertainment . They are a fairly new independent production company based out of Georgia, in conjunction with Flat Rock Studios. I will be working remote from LA, then become “bicoastal” once the titles I’m overseeing go into physical production. Big thank you to my long time friend and collaborator @vcstewart for brining me into the fold. Hello beautiful people. If you don’t already know, I am in esthetician school in Portland OR to expand my makeup career into skincare and hair removal. I need to perform 140 facials, 60 hair removals, and 10 makeups in order to graduate so I can take my state board. I made this chest piece to wear for the @queensofthestoneage show this week. The band specifically asked attendees to dress up for the catacombs tour shows, as they are mostly performed in concert halls with a live orchestra. Since Portland is not a very “dress up” kind of city, I was 100% the most over dressed person there and I am totally okay with that. I spend 12 hours on the piece because I am that fucking extra. I don’t have pieces like this available in my stock, as they take a very long time to create, but I am happy to make them for custom orders if you’re willing to spend hundreds of dollars. Happy Valentine’s Day to all the single girlies out there. Being “single” has such a weird reputation in society for women over a certain age. Like, sorry I know my worth and refuse to settle. I adore having all of my time to myself, I’m never lonely, and I’m so much more at peace on my own than I am in some relationship that’s exhausting. So grateful to have my girl gang to share this sentiment with. I’m also the luckiest girl in the world to get to spend everyday with the most loving creature in the universe @laszlothechug

I gave one of the Beaumonde Academy students a personalized training on how to do makeup using the kit that was provided to them by the school. The concealer/foundations it came with are pretty thick and her main concern was that she still wanted her freckles to be visible so application technique was of the most importance. The kit didn’t come with any brow products so we left her brows as is. I still had to pull some eye shadow brushes and lip products from my own kit, but I’m pretty happy with how this turned out.
