I gave one of the Beaumonde Academy students a personalized training on how to do makeup using the kit that was provided to them by the school. The concealer/foundations it came with are pretty thick and her main concern was that she still wanted her freckles to be visible so application technique was of the most importance. The kit didn’t come with any brow products so we left her brows as is. I still had to pull some eye shadow brushes and lip products from my own kit, but I’m pretty happy with how this turned out.

This week we are on the makeup part of the curriculum which, for a professional makeup artist of almost 2 decades, is laughable. Instead of using the MUD makeup and doing the actual curriculum, I brought my own kit and did a full beat makeover on my 17 year old classmate @hairdesigns.bystella . For the actual test we have to do a basic face in 25 minutes, as a perfectionist with high standards this is going to be impossible for me 🤣. I took my sweet ass time yesterday and did this in 1hr 45 minutes, but I was teaching her as I worked. I also taught her as she did my makeup out of my kit. If you are in Portland you can come to the school to get your makeup done by me for literally $20 which is insane as I typically charge hundreds of dollars. I have to do 10 makeup services as part of my requirements to graduate so If you are in Portland and would like to come and get your makeup done by me now until mid February, DM me and I will help you set up an appointment. 🖤
Hi everyone! I know it’s been a long time since I posted but I wanted to give everyone an update on the future of Bone Structure. After a successful 6 years, Bone Structure LA is getting a makeover and location change. I am now launching Bone Structure PDX in Portland Oregon. Instead of focusing on cosmetic tattoo my practice will be focused on skincare and hair removal. I will still continue my makeup application and makeup education services under my new business model. As the industry is evolving, so am I. I am giving up procedures I no longer have a passion for to focus on healthier treatments. Thank you for your loyalty to me over the past several years and I hope to stay connected with you all while I move on to my next venture. 🖤
