Last year I took @vicksvapostrub ‘s creature workshop at @feldsparceramics because I wanted to replace perfecting a functional ware with making something very silly.
It took awhile to finally glaze this, but introducing my caked up, buff rat, Jonathan Davis from Korn (his full legal name). He’s one of my favourite things ever 🐁

@kat_sung has been focusing on colour and patterns in her latest work, applying grids to replicate a quilt-like pattern to vases and mugs. She also enjoys incorporating sculptural elements to wheel-thrown pieces to add a sense of whimsy.
Sustainability is one of the primary values in her practice and sources most clay from reclaimed stoneware trimmings and discarded student pieces.
Her work will be available at our upcoming holiday market at @societyclubhouse on Saturday, November 29th from 10am - 5pm 💫
