Tour through my eyes. As I sit and reflect on the past few months of being on tour and the months of planning prior, there are a number of thoughts that stand out the most. Lessons learned, moments of clarity, and new found feelings of gratefulness.
- Stay grateful + Love the process: We have visions and ideas of what an overall goal will look like at the end. We think about the work necessary to accomplish these goals, but the process itself will always be different than what we expected. In these moments of high emotional energy and feelings of defeat; Iâve had to remember to stay grounded in gratefulness. Grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow and from the experiences. Grateful to see something that was once a mere thought years ago turn into a tangible reality. Through this lens, the complaining ends and a genuine appreciation for the process is grown.
- Form the right team: Nobody can just be along for the ride. The idea of traveling across the country and performing sounds fun, but those are the smallest elements when touring. Everybody needs a role. Extra weight with no purpose of pushing the group forward will drain you financially, energetically, and spiritually. The more cohesive the team, the more success youâll see.
- Be intentional with time: Leave no second unaccounted for and map out EVERYTHING - when to start digitally promoting, where weâre going to do ground promo in each city, when weâll take naps, where weâre going to eat, etc. Wasted time means wasted energy. Energy is the most valuable thing you have.
- Have Fun: It wasnât until the 4th city where I changed my mindset on the whole tour and started having fun. The stress of putting out fires around every corner was making me want to quit. Pivoting so much derailed the entire plan that was set. Trying to control the uncontrollable is impossible. No matter what the situation is, you can control your attitude and your mindset. Have fun through the process.
@kasprmanagement hit a major stride. Thank you to everybody, for everything! This wouldnât have been possible without support. Weâll be back on the road very soon. Always posted on the corner of Talent and Opportunity đ»
