I remember growing up and visiting my grandmother with the intentions of running into my Father. It never happened.
I remember growing up and riding my bicycle to my Father’s job so that I could just get a hi or a let’s hang out. It never happened.
I use to think I was the issue, now I see being a Father can happen by mistake. But being a Dad, that’s something you must wake up each day intentionally seeking greater.
Well greater is coming. I don’t know what our relationship will be like but I promise you will never have to worry about me leaving your side. Baby Mal you will never have to worry about if your Dad loves you. There won’t be a time you have to question my intentions they will always be on you and mommy. I promise to spend each day of my remaining life vowing nothing but excellence for you and your mother. I promise to never make you feel how my “dad” made me feel. You deserve better, and I will forever give you that. I love you BUDDY LOVE.
You, Mommy and Me against the world 🤞🏾💚
