Oakley Sphera - How can we reflect the aesthetic of a product in the environment built around it, and light shaped around it? Water became a light source, a mirror, and a set. Light used to illuminate, and remove context, building an alternate reality. Thanks @oakley for the support in our vision. — Creative Director/Photographer: @reubenkrabbe Director: @willbiname @laurentbilodeau DOP: @laurentbilodeau @willbiname Producer: @ltaaffe Athlete: @karstenmad VFX: Dan Gaud Edit/SFX/Colour: @willbiname @laurentbilodeau Production Assistant: @finlaywoods

#suniimoment 010 – Karsten Madsen @karstenmad spent years as a pro athlete, locked into the discipline and single-focus mindset that comes with competing at the highest level. But what got me wasn’t what he did in sport, it’s what he chose to do after. He started volunteering with Pemberton Search and Rescue, and loved it so much he decided to take it further. Now, he basically saves lives full time, both as a paramedic and as part of SAR. (Sorry for making this sound like superman, but I mean, he literally saves lives, what can I say!) When we spoke, it was clear how much it means to him. You could feel it in the way he talked about learning, growing, and wanting to be able to help people in every way he can. It’s not just something he does right, it seems like its something that gets him through the world now. I think it’s rare, and honestly super inspiring, to go from being so deep in your sport to finding something that lights you up just as much, but for totally different reasons. Karsten is the definition of being on-the-go. He can get a call at any moment, and there he goes, out the door, ready to help! if this isn’t a #suniimoment, I don’t know what is! ā€¼ļøPemberton Search and Rescue (PSAR) has been named a finalist in the 2025Ā Defender Service Awards, a North American competition presented by Land Rover that recognizes volunteer organizations for exceptional community service and leadership.

Please help them out by voting in the link in our bio, all you have to do is put your email! Wishing you a sunii day šŸŒž
