BAR KARMA POP-UP RESTAURANT OP LEPELTJE LEPELTJE AMSTERDAM
Een heus restaurant strijkt aankomend weekend bij ons neer op de werf. Nog voordat deze zomer de deuren van Bar Karma officieel openen, krijg je tijdens Lepeltje Lepeltje Amsterdam al een voorproefje van het concept. Op uitnodiging van Karma Kebab komen vier gastchefs hier vier dagen lang de sterren van de hemel koken en zetten ze de tafel vol met Midden-Oosterse, Mediterrane smaken om te delen.
Naast het restaurant host Karma Kebab een eigen podium: je culinaire ontdekkingsreis wordt hier begeleid door @koperblond.dj , DJ HOSSEINI, @raywellofficial , @meneerheerens , @boyos.soundsystem en @iamdiscodanny .

You can expect food that has been traveling borders, turkish and marrocan inspired street food with Indo influences. Comfort food with a cultural backbone and absolutely zero patience for anything that doesn’t taste like something.

Lasse & Lila aren’t really guests, they are our people for years now.
Festival kids from Amsterdam who’ve been on the road with us in multiple countries.
10 day roadtrip to Denmark, 2am breakdowns, adventures on Sonnemondsterne, they have seen it all.
Being 1 of our favortie trucker duo’s we want to give them a stage to show 1 of their many passions (go Watch Lasse his photography!) FOOD!
With A la Lilaaa they have done international catering gigs, being invited for store openings and hosting awesome friends dinners.
Friday they bring their energy into the kitchen, their take on the middle eastern cuisine.
Long tables, special selected wines, sharing dishes and 40seats only!

The doors of Bar Karma are opening and it’s starting to feel very, very real.
This is what we’ve been building towards the last months:
A big open kitchen that runs on fire; inspired by middle Eastern and Mediterranen flavour, shared dishes will be landing on long tables where strangers become your people for the night.
The kind of place where dinner turns into something nobody planned and nobody wants to end (never forget your dancing shoes!)
We’ve been living this for years and wanted to give it a home.
Five countries, hundreds of festivals. A truck that fed thousands of people who had no idea what was coming and came back for more with their friends. That energy needed a permanent address and now it has one.
