With the weather being unreal this past weekend I just had to get to the Lake District for a swim/paddleboard.
I was also luckily enough to be sent some of @keeneurope Hyperport Sandals from @karma_pr and it was the perfect test.
With carrying all my gear the last thing I wanted to worry about was my shoes and luckily for me the sandals were ultralight and very agile trekking up and down from the lake. Like usual Keen have built these shoes with the environment in mind but they have not sacrificed any comfort.
Overall I had a very good experience with the Hyperports and I think days at the Lake are an ideal use of these shoes.

Ive been testing out the @keeneurope Targhee Apex Mid Waterproof boots and they’ve seriously impressed me so far.
First thing you notice is comfort. No break in needed, just straight out the box and you're good to go. The fit is nice and roomy (especially around the toes) which makes a big difference on longer hikes.
They’re also very lightweight for a mid hiking boot, so you don’t get that heavy, clunky feeling. Feels more like wearing trainers but with way more support.
Grip is solid on mixed terrain and the waterproofing actually does its job. Handled wet grass and muddy paths without any issues.
Big fan of the cushioning too, gives a bit of bounce back with each step which helps on longer outings.
Perfect if you want something comfortable, lightweight, and ready for everyday hiking without sacrificing protection.

First impression was its super comfortable and for me the wide toe box felt great! It’s an adaptable shoe inspired by a gravel bike tire so I loved being able to easily mix road, trail, gravel, mud and grass into my route, with stability and comfort throughout.
As always Keen have aimed for a super durable shoe so I’m sure i have a lot more miles on the trail to look forward to in this shoe 😎

With the big race creeping closer, I’ve started adding more elevation into my runs. Took them for a steady little 5K around the Surrey Hills in the sunshine and I’m still not convinced these legs were built for hills 😅⛰️
First thoughts of the SEEK runners! … Every foot is different … what works for me won’t work for everyone. But if you like comfort and a bit of room for your toes, these felt great straight out the box.
