The first race weekend of the Alpe Adria Championship is officially behind us.โ
On Friday, all practice sessions went perfectly, finishing P1 in every session. Unfortunately, there was also a crash during the day. A huge thanks to my team,
@luka48 ,
@m.krusic and
@dnervo7 for the quick repair and incredible effort to get the bike back on track in such a short time.๐ค๐ค
Saturday started with qualifying, where I managed to set the fastest lap and secure pole position for the race. In Race 1, I had a great start and controlled the race from the beginning, crossing the finish line in 1st place with a 4-second advantage over second place.๐ช
Sunday began with the sprint race. Once again, I had a strong start and finished in 1st place, 2.7 seconds ahead of the rider behind me.โ
In the Race 2 the start was not ideal and I entered Turn 1 in 6th position. After a few laps, I managed to fight my way into the lead, and from there it was a battle all the way until the final lap. It was an incredible race and a great fight on track.๐ฅ
A huge thank you to my team for the trust and the amazing work done before the start of the season, as well as throughout the entire first race weekend. Thank you to everyone who came to support me and the whole team, your support truly means a lot to me.โค๏ธ
And of course, if you want to be the fastest, you need to have
@slavic_performance in your team.๐
Also, congratulations to my friends
@dominikbuterin99 and
@dnervo7 for securing 3rd place in the Superbike race.๐ช
