The glitz and glamour of setting up a new show.
Week 1: forging the entire structure by which the production will be produced. Creating the pipeline and developing a set of systems specific to the show - a million disparate yet interconnected moving parts, responsibility for hundreds of people and millions of dollars but never enough people or dollars. days that that are long but never long enough. thousands of creative decisions about what the machine looks like, crafting every dept with the correct time and people and mechanisms to provide a particular product and serve the show, the artists that will enhance the writing and shape the creative. It's really easy to make bad cartoons.
Also: making directional signs to the bathrooms
My dog at her $45/day daycare. Utterly unimpressed, entitled, unable to play with others, and never taking advantage of the opportunities.

It's lovely how we celebrate women one day a year. All I see is dramatic deterioration in respect for mother's rights, catastrophic attacks on human rights and gender equality; 1 in 3 of use still being subjected to physical or sexual violence; an erosion of human rights for women and girls; laws instituted against the will of most Americans - inexorably tied to women’s freedoms and female power because they hate us; continuing to treat weaponized overt misogyny and infantile rhetoric as a legitimate tactic.
When you realize how much of where the world is now is all based on hatred of mothers and all women, it's enough to tear a hole in spacetime continuum.
Happy Birthday to the big guy. He muddled through a traumatic year with his dopey, affable nature intact which is more than i can say for the rest of us
