Farm workers at Windmill Farms in Sunnyside, WA elected to have the UFW represent them in 2022. They've been fighting for union recognition ever since. Show the workers they’re not alone. Sign the pledge to support their campaign. /a/windmillpledge?ms=ig #BoycottWindmillMushrooms

Farm workers were denied a preliminary injunction against Trump’s illegal wage cut rule. Farm workers will continue fighting these wage cuts as the lawsuit proceeds and continue organizing for fair wages. We've got to stop Trump's farm worker wage cuts. Their H-2A rule change drastically cuts wages for H-2A farm workers and local workers alike. We filed suit in federal court to block it, but lawsuits take a long time and are very expensive. Please help. Link to donate in bio or go to: /a/trumpswagecuts?ms=ig #WeFeedYou

The cherry season is happening in firebaugh CA. A group of workers wait—ladders in hand—to begin working .The issue is they are given a time to arrive and then often have to wait a long time to actually start working. They tell us don't get paid for that time. #SoyEsencial

A farm worker in upstate NY shared this pic from where they were pruning apples on a muddy, rainy day. He shared: When you climb a ladder that's placed on muddy ground, it isn't stable as the ladder can sink deeper into the earth. This makes it more dangerous. #SoyEsencial

Today, we’re proud to announce that the United Farm Workers have endorsed our campaign. These are the men and women who wake up before sunrise to pick the fruits and vegetables that feed America. Their labor puts food on every table, yet too many families here in South LA still live in food deserts without access to fresh, healthy options. That’s why this endorsement means so much. Our campaign believes every family deserves access to fresh food, community gardens, and healthier neighborhoods. We stand with the workers who feed this country, and together we’ll keep fighting for dignity, opportunity, and investment in South LA.

Farmworkers work through wildfires, extreme heat, and let’s not forget the COVID-19 pandemic - while most Americans quarantined at home, they continued to toil the soil to keep food on our tables and our communities going. And now, many face threats to their livelihoods and families from ICE raids. Farmworkers are essential to our state and our nation, and too often forgotten and unseen — but not by me. I’ve always been proud to fight alongside farmworkers and their families, and I’m deeply grateful for the support of the United Farm Workers in my campaign for State Senate. ✊🏼 I hope that I can count on your vote before June 2nd! ♥️ wendycarrillo.com #WendyForSenate #SD26 #RootedInCommunity

It's Friday night. If you're enjoying a glass of wine, make it union wine. "Manuel" works under a UFW contract at Gallo of Sonoma. He's removing shoots from wine grapes, leaving the best ones that will grow and produce the quality grapes that make this tasty wine. #SoyEsencial

"Jesus" shares. "I have been working in agriculture in Salinas CA for 15 years, operating a tractor. Right now, I am removing the irrigation hose after harvesting lettuce hearts. I have to be careful because it gets tangled easily, which is dangerous." #SoyEsencial

"Alex" shared this pic from where he's harvesting blueberries in Delano CA. "We make minimum wage and make a $6 bonus if we harvest more than 11 boxes. However there's not a lot of berries, so we struggle to make even the 11 required boxes." #SoyEsencial

This is how the strawberry fields look in Santa Maria, CA. "Erica" shares, "Seeing this gives me a combination of feelings. I'm happy there is some work. But it is difficult to harvest enough to feed your family when there is little fruit." It was 86° in Delano CA when a farm worker was driving through a newly planted orange orchard making sure that the young trees have the just right amount of water for their growing process. #SoyEsencial
