Fuji TV HQ, Odaiba. Kenzo Tange, 1996.
This building holds a significant formative memory from my early childhood. Designed by Kenzo Tange, it exemplifies the principles of the Metabolist movement. This architectural philosophy envisioned buildings and cities as dynamic, evolving entities, much like organisms, capable of growth and transformation over time. That idea has stayed with me, particularly as a metaphor for my own evolving experience of health over the years.
These photos were taken during my most recent visit to Tokyo, while visiting family over Christmas.
