It has been an honor and a privilege to take on the role of Gala & Competitions Chair at @aigakc and host A20 for the Missouri and Kansas design community this past Thursday ♥️✨ A lot went into this competition and gala, especially with it being the 20th Annual A-Awards. I went straight from wedding planning in 2024 to A20 planning in 2025, and I have to say this is the proudest I have ever been of myself. I was laid off in July for the 3rd time in three years, and volunteering on this board has provided me with the gumption that I’ve needed to continue moving forward. I am so incredibly grateful to these people and am inspired by our insanely creative city each and every day. Thank you, AIGAKC 🩷🫶
It's been a busy day! 4:30 AM wake-up call, 4.25hr drive (lost an hour/time change), two distillery tours, dinner at a local hot spot. Just checked in to House of Commons: A Bourbon Library. Time to chill with a cocktail, a pour (or two), and spread the Burn on some KC Whiskey!
