On Tuesday, August 26th, my Mom Mom peacefully joined my Pop Pop in Heaven. Saturday held a beautiful service surrounded by loved ones, living and departed. She was buried in tropical flowers and an island-like breeze to the sound of sniffles and laughter. šŗ
My grandmother was so smart and witty and funny and kind. She was loving and supportive, and I will cherish the times that we had for the rest of my life.
Thank you, Mom Mom, for all the fun Kohlās shopping trips, and consistently letting me win in Sorry. Thank you for never forgetting the Mary Poppins bag, and always being up for ice cream.
