Happy International Dance Day! 🕺🪩
This year, I wanted to reflect on my love of teaching dance. I was fortunate enough to fall in love with teaching as a sophomore in high school, and my love for it has only grown stronger. This semester has been a whirlwind of rehearsals, as I was blessed with two pieces. For the first time, I felt as if I got a small taste of what I plan to do when I “grow up!” Balancing rehearsals, school, work, and performing has been tiring, but I truly feel grateful to have such a busy schedule. What I’ve learned this semester: Creating choreography weekly is challenging, and I can’t wait to continue crafting forever. Much love to both my casts and all the dancers I’ve taught this past year. Y'all continue to remind me why I’m majoring in Dance Education, and why I love it ❤️
