i guess you'll need to read it to find out 🤭 i am so excited to get to read this book and start a brand new elsie silver series, i feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have the opportunity to read this early

i have been recommended this book by SO many people and i have finally decided to pick it up!
i’m sure you've heard of this book since it has been making the rounds online but, if you haven't, it's about this tradwife influencer who loves her life but then one day wakes up in 1855 and has to actually live the life she preaches online to her millions of followers. i'm sure you can imagine just how well that goes 😬
i’m doing a buddy read of it with my fiancée @tooshie.reads and (as of right now) we both absolutely cannot stand the fmc! she is absolutely insufferable but i think that's how she's supposed to be written, like it's supposed to be awful being in her head. i am hoping for some character growth though and maybe she'll be a better person by the end? i really can't wait to find out

sunday shelfie AND supporting our local independent bookstore 📚✨
my fiancée and i love going to so many different bookstores and since we couldn't get out on independent bookstore day, we decided to go shopping today!
she loves going to wheatberry books in chillicothe and it was my first time there! it was so cute and they had such a good collection of books that i had been searching for for a long time and also had never heard of, so thank you wheatberry 🌾🤍
i ended up getting 7 books and she got 6 and it felt so good to know i was supporting a small business in our community, i am SO excited to post a book haul in the coming days so stay tuned for that!!

feeling blue 🦋💙🐬🫐🩵📘
i FINALLY got my nails done today and have recently been obsessed with the color blue so i knew i was gonna have to do an all blue set ✨
we went out with our friend and her daughter and had a little girls trip to the nail salon and then shopping!! i got a cute new blue coffee cup (in the pic) and then i realized my nails also now match a lot of my books (esp the new afterlight release star shipped!!) that i either love or am very excited to read so they just seem like they were meant to be!!
it felt so nice to do a little self care since life has been very busy with work and getting into therapy for the first time for my OCD and anxiety so i feel like this set is very much deserved for supporting myself and doing hard things 🩵

the weather has been so much warmer the past couple days so i have finally been able to get outside and enjoy the sunshine 🥰
last night my fiancée and i sat outside and watched the clouds while we ate dinner and took the dogs outside while the weather was nice, we are so excited to start taking them to the dog park where they can run around much more than in our yard
we’ve also been reading outside much more since the sun is still out when we get home from work as well! the days feel so much longer now and hopefully that will help me to be more productive and active outdoors now that spring is near 🦋🌿🐝

my fiancée and our friend went out yesterday to get our nails done and i am so so happy with how they turned out! we had such a great time and it was so nice to do something relaxing
i was torn between yellow/blue or yellow/pink for my nails, all i knew was that i wanted some kind of pale yellow! but my tbr for march was very yellow/blue coded to i figured it was a sign from the universe to choose something that had the two colors in it and i think they’re SO cute
