Happy Friday bookish babes!! Been seeing a few book girlies do some really cute “get to know me” and “re-introducing me” posts, so I figured it was time to do a little re-introduction of my own! This time, I wanted to add more fun facts about myself and my bookish quirks.
Thank you all so much for sticking around, talking to me about books, and for being just genuinely beautiful human beings 💕 Creating my booksta last year was a huge push to get myself out there more and to be proud of my soft side that I never showed a lot of when I was younger. Thank you for giving me the space to unravel myself at my own pace and, of course, for encouraging me to read books by new authors and explore new genres 📚

I’ve been seeing a lot of book babes lately going over their tbr piles and either unhauling, counting their physical and digital tbr’s or making a 2026 reading goal to knock down most of their pile (or piles 👀✋🏻).
So with that inspiration and a huge amount of response from the question I posted on my story a few days ago, I decided to re-count my own physical and digital tbr’s. I was left with a whopping 154 books and my grandmother going “I think it’s time maybe you read some of those, no?”

Reorganizing my tbr cart 🛒📚🍒🥐
I’ve been wanting to reorganize my tbr cart for a while now and finally had some time this weekend to move some books around!
Romance reads have been dominating my life lately, and since I haven’t read much from the other genres I love (thriller, romantasy & horror), I decided to move all my thrillers and romantasy up to the top two shelves of my cart for easy access. I’ve only read 1 thriller so far this year and have been missing the genre so bad 🔪
I also took all of my standalones and placed them throughout the front of my cart. I am very much a series/trilogy girlie at heart, but because of my tbr takedown, I wanna focus more on getting through one book at a time and not spending too much brain power on a series (unless I’m still in the middle of it).
The back of my cart has the rest of my fantasy and romance books that are either the first in a series or all the books from that series/trilogy. I also have a autobiography hiding in there somewhere 😅
Overall, I’m really pleased with how everything is set up and feel so much more determined to read more from my thriller and romantasy sections 🙂↔️⚔️🔪

I am a HUGE sucker for second chance romance and have not fallen this hard for a sports romance in a long time. I loved everything about this story. The deep character development, the found family elements—THE CHEMISTRY {😩😮💨} Absolutely stunning. I couldn’t stop reading, literally was up most days reading way into the early hours of the morning {RIP my sleep schedule}. It was that good!
The ALC had me fully focused and invested {though I truly loved every minute of this, so that wasn’t very hard to do 😅}. My favorite way to read is immersive reading, so this was right up my alley. The voice actors had great flow and I especially loved the voice changes from Otto to Opa 🥹💕
I loved the dual timeline—which is crazy, because usually I don’t like the back-and-forth. However, Farnsworth did it effortlessly! Everything flowed so beautifully and I loved the moments in Paris that really showed how crazy and spontaneous everything was for Claire and Otto back then.
If you love second chance, sports romance and a love that is all consuming—add this to your tbr immediately!

While March felt super slow, April feels like it went 90 miles an hr 🤯 I still feel like it’s mid-April and this weather is only proving my point (NY, please stop with the 60 below nonsense 😒 thank you very much). Though I’m still finding my rhythm, this month reminded me that not everything needs to be done perfectly and that as long as you have faith and believe in yourself—absolutely anything is possible 💕
