I ain’t been doing too well. I miss you. Part of me is still in shock, and the only override I have is being present for those who are grieving just like me…
I don’t think I have given myself the proper space to grieve so far. We working on it.
In words I’ve never spoken, you mean so much to me. You are forever apart of my Detroit family. The values and culture you embraced in your lifestyle have taught me what it means to carry Detroit with you. I truly thank you for being so inviting and always being you. I don’t think you’ll ever know quite what that meant to me and that’s okay, I trust that the karma you created in those small moments will be returned to you in the highest fashion in the next life my friend.

In this chapter of life I was blessed enough to have you as a close friend Mycah, and even as a close friend there was so much we never said.

Today is my 5 year anniversary from my leap of faith!
As I reflect on the 5 years I’ve spent away from home in pursuit of greatness I reflect on the love that has been poured into my by new friends, new family, and new partners. Although there have been many setbacks, many heartbreaks, and many temporary defeats, ultimately nothing has stopped me from achieving the growth and abundance I’ve been destined for. May these lessons and memories serve as nourishment for the man I am to become.
