RELAY X // FRAMES + BREAKDOWNS ============================ THE PROCESS As a Director of Photography, I enjoy the process of being intentional with curating and designing frames to tell a story whether it’s commercial or narrative. My prep and planning process has become a staple for me and productions. A piece of the process that is important to me, is the Director and DP relationship. For me, having the time and freedom to co-create with @peterthedirector has always led to a great working experience. I’ve found collaborating during the preproduction process allows us to elevate what we create, and make the production workflow easier for everyone.  The color palettes and lighting were premeditated in prepro which allowed us to be more creative and flexible with our time. We had all of our lamps on DMX. This allowed me to give specific HSI values to get the exact color and save time. Also I had the pleasure of coloring this piece. Being able to share my craft and how I enjoy creating has been such a fun experience. In that, I hope these frames and breakdowns help you guys as we continue to learn and grow together.
