For reversed choreography follow @mathildevrignaud , a dancer and choreographer. Carneval is celebration of an identity shift, from derelict land to feral ecology. Fence is a blockade. But the one that protects feral. Unstable Grounds are sister feral lands, where Krater spreads as a city organism. Your hosts at Unstable Grounds: @robin_winogrond is a landscape architect and urban designer working across public space, gardens, artistic installations, and urban strategies. She taught at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and works internationally through projects, lectures, teaching, juries, and publications. Her work explores the poetic potential of residual urban sites through atmosphere, imagination, social space, and Geographical (Re)enchantment. & @thilofolkerts is a landscape architect, writer, educator, founder of 100Landschaftsarchitektur, and professor of architectural design at the Academy of Art's Institute for Art and Architecture in Vienna. His practice works across landscape architecture, architecture, urban planning, and the visual arts, treating transdisciplinarity as essential to contemporary urban space-making. Rays of primordial fire permeate through smoke, a veil, a net. From the depths, roots, mycelia, weeds spread, multiply, branch. Relentless, indifferent, they penetrate through obstacles, move, overgrow, decay. They cut, they dig, they gnaw, they carve the way. Weaving, braiding, tangling, knotting a mysterious tissue. Forming the flesh of the world. They inhabit, invade, envelop, mark. A glimpse from a cell to the cosmos through the porous layers of plasma. It seeps, it oozes, it simmers, it erodes. Colliding with the barrier, an enclosure, the grounding point. Soil and clay. Oil and canvas. Carved wood, worm wood, a trunk, a stump. Weeds and mycelia. Electric fence, a net, a tube, zip ties, ironing board foam, sofa lining, epoxy resin. Mycelium sporing in a webbed mould. Thorn-shaped clay, a bud. Digital print on a mycelium block.
