Očarani nad potovanjem in razstavo 💚 Na premieri filma 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝘂𝗰̌𝗸𝗲 se je očaranje nadaljevalo z vodenjem po razstavi Kinodvorovih fotografov @katjagoljat , @boljkovacu , @matjazrust , @domenpal 𝗧𝗮𝗺, 𝗸𝗷𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗰̌𝗮𝘀, regratovim čajem in slikanjem na bele balone. ✨Today we bring you to 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅, Ljubljana—a long-term collaboration between Slovenian photographers 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧 & 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐭𝐚ž 𝐑𝐮š𝐭, who have been working together on this project since 2014. The project has been presented in galleries in Slovenia and abroad, and in 2015, its authors self-published a book of the same title. ✩ In addition to their collaborative work, both photographers also work as independent authors. @dvatridevetnula frequently employs an autobiographical approach in his photographic practice, while @matjazrust focuses on documentary and socially engaged photography. “We have been building a visual diary of the city of Ljubljana with a distinct social sensitivity and critical acuity, photographing situations and spaces that give the city its character. Despite the apparent lightness of the content, imbued with gallows humor and (self-)irony, we draw attention to real and social phenomena. Behind the humorous images of the social margins, revelry, improvised spatial solutions, and the gap between the city center and its periphery lies a bitter message about the stratification of society. Over the past forty years, the unequal relations of early capitalism, in which people are marked by status and left to their own devices, have intensified, making the series a penetrating photographic study of social transformation in the era of late capitalism. The series highlights key challenges and issues in the urban environment, such as the commercialization of public space, gentrification, social stratification, and touristification. Kot izkušen terenski fotograf in član Večerove redakcije v žirijo vstopa s poglobljenim poznavanjem uredniškega okolja, novinarskega konteksta in specifik fotoreporterskega dela. 🎞️ 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗖̌𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻 Ustanoviteljica in direktorica @galerijafotografija , prve zasebne specializirane galerije za fotografijo v Sloveniji. Deluje kot kuratorka, urednica in promotorka fotografije z dolgoletnimi izkušnjami pri organizaciji razstav ter založništvu fotografskih publikacij. 🎞️ 𝗡𝗶𝗸 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗸 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝗯𝗮𝘂𝗲𝗿 Vizualni umetnik in fotograf, prejemnik nagrade Čuvaj 2021, revija GUP Magazine ga je uvrstila med najperspektivnejše evropske fotografe. Je ustanovitelj in sourednik časopisa @henrikjournal . Njegova dela so vključena v več javnih in zasebnih zbirk, trenutno pa deluje kot fotograf časopisa Dnevnik. 🎞️𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗷𝗮𝘇̌ 𝗥𝘂𝘀̌𝘁 Dokumentarni fotograf, dobitnik nagrad Slovenia Press Photo in Čuvaj za izstopajočo novinarsko reportažo. Njegova dela so uvrščena v stalno zbirko Moderne galerije v Ljubljani. Poleg samostojnega ustvarjanja je aktiven član fotografskega dua @najlepsemestonasvetu , kjer dokumentira družbene pasti življenja v prestolnici. 🎞️ 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘁 𝗭̌𝗶𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗰́ Fotoreporter, vodja agencije FA Bobo in sodelavec agencije Reuters. Njegove fotografije se pogosto pojavljajo v globalnih medijih, kot so The Guardian in New York Times. Letos je osvojil 2. mesto na nagradah AIPS za športno fotografijo. 🗓 𝗥𝗼𝗸 𝘇𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗷𝗮𝘃𝗲: 𝟭𝟱. 𝗼𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 🏆 Nagrajence bomo razglasili na zaključnem dogodku festivala Naprej/Forward 🔗 Več informacij: na povezavi v opisu profila.

😷🖐️ Stiki so se skrčili na klice, pogovore skozi okna in poglede čez cesto. »Ostati doma« je pred petimi leti, ob razglasitvi epidemije, postalo nova realnost. 📸 V seriji fotografij, ki je leta 2020 prejela pohvalo žirije festivala 𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗷 / 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, @matjazrust skozi okno svojega doma dokumentira drobne prizore pred blokom – duh skupnosti, ki pripoveduje zgodbo o odpornosti, prilagajanju in iskanju bližine tam, kjer je bilo to še mogoče. 🎞 Tudi letos z 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗖̌𝘂𝘃𝗮𝗷 izpostavljamo izjemne dosežke na področju novinarske fotografije. Razpis za prijave bo objavljen v drugi polovici leta, do takrat z mislijo na nove presežke obujamo nagrajena dela iz preteklih let. 🫶

Giant - TCR / @matjazrust se je odpeljal iz Ljubljane v Trento, kjer sem ga ujel, ko se je že ohladil v Soči. Čez Vršič se je pripeljal z njegovim Giantom, ki mu pridno služi za daljše in krajše cestne fure. Lep black on black bajk! Giant - TCR / Matjaž came from Ljubljana to Trenta, where I caught him after a refreshing soak in Soča. He took the Vršič pass with his Giant, which he uses for his longer and shorter rides. A very nice black on black bike!

The Landslide Stories, a project initiated by @strondinstudio is a part of of the Rencontres Arles photography festival event "Night of the Year". We are very happy that our story has made it's way to one of the world's largest photography festivals! Thank you @jessica.auer and @katjagoljat for all the work and to the great musician @ivarpetur for the soundtrack. The project will continue to be screened until September 29th at La Croisiere in Arles.
