🏢🎥 Human and urban landscapes collide, co-exist and shape one another in The Ends: a hypnotic dialogue between bodies and brutalist architecture. Filmed on Westbury Estate in Lambeth, London, the title of this film comes from use of the term ‘the Ends’ — slang for neighbourhood or home — to describe estates now under threat of gentrification and demolition. Inspired by Nabil Al-Kinani’s work @privatisethemandem , with over 23,000 social-rented homes lost in the past decade, the film is both a celebration and elegy, reflecting on community, resilience and erasure.
